Milk and cream can be found in many dishes – savory and sweet – as they add a rich flavour and creamy texture. It’d be hard to picture a kitchen or fridge without some. While they easily make most dishes and desserts better, it can be tough to manage such short expiration dates. Most cafes, restaurants, and workplaces have at one time or another overbought stock and then found themselves with out of date cartons.
One solution to this problem is having bulk milk powder and cooking creams on hand. They have much longer shelf lives and are a great backup if you’re ever caught short. Milk powder is also cheaper than fresh, liquid milk and doesn’t take up valuable real estate space in the fridge.
