Making a Difference: Reducing Sodium

As the world’s leading Nutrition Health and Wellness Company, Nestlé has had a sodium reduction policy in place since 2005. 

As a result of this policy, global reductions in sodium equated to 12,500 tonnes less salt in our culinary and breakfast cereal recipes since 2005. In 2012 we updated our position on sodium further with a commitment to reduce high salt products by an average of 10% by 2015.
