Caramel Pear Upside Down Pudding

Ingredients
  • 150 gr Brown sugar
  • 1275 gr Pear, canned and drained Halves
  • 300 gr Butter, unsalted
  • 160 gr Sugar
  • 5 ea Eggs
  • 200 gr Plain flour
  • 200 gr White self-raising flour
  • 200 gr NESTLÉ Caramel Mousse Dessert Mix
  • 300 mL Milk

    Pre heat oven to 180ºC.

    Sprinkle brown sugar evenly over base of greased and lined 26cm x 32cm baking pan, cut pear halves into quarters and arrange over brown sugar.

    Beat butter and sugar until light and creamy, beat in eggs one at a time. Stir in sifted flours and NESTLÉ Caramel Mousse Dessert Mix with milk, spread cake mixture evenly over pears.

    Bake 40 minutes or until cooked. Remove from oven, stand 5 minutes before turning out. If desired, serve warm with Caramel Custard.
