Potato, Leek and Ham Soup

Ingredients
  • 40 mL Olive oil
  • 350 gr Leek sliced thinly
  • 200 gr Bacon Rasher, cut into strips
  • 2 L Water
  • 60 gr MAGGI Chicken Flavoured Booster Gluten Free 2.4kg
  • 500 mL Cream, 35%
  • 1 kg Potato peeled and diced
  • 15 gr Flat leaf parsley, fresh finely chopped
Preparation

    Heat oil in pan; add leek; cook over low heat 4 minutes. Add bacon and cook for a further 4 minutes.
  • 2
    Add combined water, MAGGI Chicken Booster, cream and potato; bring to boil; reduce heat and simmer 15 minutes. Correct the seasoning and stir through parsley.

    Serving Suggestion: serve topped with crispy fried bacon and fried leek, if desired.
