Caramel Date Pudding
Ingredients
- 500 gr Dates, dried Chopped
- 350 mL Water, boiling
- 15 gr Bicarbonate of soda
- 350 gr Butter, unsalted
- 250 gr Brown sugar
- 4 ea Eggs
- 300 gr Plain flour
- 150 gr NESTLÉ Caramel Mousse Dessert Mix
Preparation

1Pre heat oven to 180ºC.

2Combine dates, water and bicarbonate soda, stand 30 minutes.

3Beat butter and brown sugar until creamy, beat in eggs one at a time.

4Fold in date mixture, sifted flour and NESTLÉ Caramel Mousse Dessert Mix. Spoon into greased, lined 26cm x 32cm baking pan.

5Bake 45-50 minutes until cooked. Serve with Caramel Custard.
